"Like sand tray, art therapy provides an opportunity to use creative, nonverbal processes while working with a variety of art materials: crayons, paint, clay, pastels and markers, collage supplies open up new avenues of healing."

Art therapy provides an opportunity to use creative, nonverbal processes while working with a variety of art materials: crayons, paint, clay, pastels and markers, collage supplies open up new avenues of healing. Years of art making in an artist’s studio as a child and later studying art history in college prompted Lindsay to seize every opportunity for art therapy training via the American Association of Play Therapy.  We are always delighted to experience the relaxation, wonder and insight that often occurs through art making in therapy.
